About Kevin D Quill

Kevin is originally from Cape Cod, MA. When he quit the football team and then the baseball team his junior year of high school to be in Beauty and the Beast and South Pacific, his career-path was clear.

After high school, Kevin was accepted to the Hartt School theater program and followed up completing a BA in English Literature in NYC while studying acting with Harold Guskin, and then with Eric Morris in Los Angeles.

During this time Kevin kept busy on regional stages. Favorite credits include Jamie/co-accompanist in The Last Five Years, The Poet in An Iliad (in which he earned a Best Actor In A Play nomination in Broadway World), Side By Side By Sondheim, Sweeney Todd (Tobias) and My Fair Lady (Freddy) at Narrows Theatre in Brooklyn.

In addition to performing, Kevin has served as music director for dozens of shows. He makes guest appearances in Provincetown, MA as a piano bar entertainer (Tin Pan Alley), as a director (The Jungle Book), and teaching drama workshops (The Academy School.)

In 2009 he and his brother formed punk rock-n-roll band Fowl Play and went on to play over 60 shows throughout the east coast; Kevin served as songwriter, lyricist, singer, and guitar player.

He stayed involved in another new family business, Fear Town Haunted House first as an actor and then as Director of Actor Training for three years.

Kevin continues to perform An Iliad in theatres, Greek poetry events, and school matinees. He most recently played Jonathan Harker in the brand new comedy Dracula For Dummies.
